Everything you need to play: how to start a game with friends, the full rules, power mode, and a few tips to win more often.
What is Ludo World 3D?
Ludo World 3D is a free Ludo game with a 3D board that you play in your web browser. There is nothing to install. You can play the Ludo you already know in Classic mode, or try Power mode, where power boxes on the board give you extra rolls, shields, number picks and hidden bombs.
The game is made for playing with people: make a room and send the link to your friends and family, or jump into a quick match. When not enough people are online, computer players fill the empty seats so you never wait long.
How to start a game
- Open ludo.freewings.com.np on your phone or computer.
- Pick a game: Classic for the Ludo you know and love, or Power for powers and bombs.
- To play with friends, create a room and share the invite link or the room code. Everyone who opens the link joins your room.
- To play with anyone online, choose Quick match.
- Sign in to keep your coins and wins on every device.
The rules
- Each player has 4 tokens. They start in the yard, the big coloured corner of the board.
- Tap the dice to roll. You need a 6 to bring a token out of the yard onto your start square.
- A 6 gives you another roll. If you roll three sixes in one turn, your turn ends and the last roll moves nothing.
- Tokens move clockwise around the 52 square track, then up their own coloured home column to the centre.
- Land exactly on a single opponent token to send it back to its yard, and you roll again.
- Tokens on the 8 safe squares cannot be captured. The safe squares are the four start squares and the four star squares.
- Two of your tokens on the same square protect each other. They cannot be captured there.
- You need the exact number to reach the centre. If your roll is too big, that token cannot move.
- Reaching the centre gives you another roll.
- If no token can move, your turn passes. The first player to bring all 4 tokens to the centre wins.
Power mode
Power mode uses all the normal rules, plus power boxes on the track. Each box shows its power. Land on a box to get that power.
Extra roll
Roll again right away.
Shield
For a few turns, the token that picked it up cannot be captured and is not hurt by bombs.
Pick a number
Saved for later. Use it before you roll, once per turn, to choose your number from 1 to 6.
Bomb
Saved for later. Use it before you roll, and it does not use up your turn. Hide it on a square where other players cannot see it. An opponent who lands exactly on that square goes back to the yard.
Tips to win more games
- Get more tokens out early. Sixes are the only way out of the yard, so use them to open new tokens while the board is quiet.
- Rest on safe squares. Start squares and star squares cannot be attacked, so they are good places to wait.
- Move in pairs. Two tokens on one square cannot be captured, so a pair is a safe place to wait.
- Count before you move. Check how far opponents are behind you. A token one to six squares in front of an opponent can be hit on the next roll.
- Capture when you can. A capture sends a rival home and gives you another roll.
- Save Pick a number for the finish. Reaching the centre needs the exact number, and a chosen number gets you there.
- Hide bombs where rivals must pass. Squares just ahead of an opponent's tokens are the ones they are most likely to land on.
